The "My Steps" report card is a convenient, online form where you can record and
track your fitness progress from month to month.
- Use this report card to set goals and stay motivated
- Start walking on the first day of the month
- Complete an online report card on the last day of the month
Instructions for using the online report card
- On Day 1, put on your pedometer as soon as you get up.
At the end of the first day, record the number of steps you walked on your
log sheet. This sheet has been designed to make it easy for you to log your totals
from each day for an entire month.
Your goal is to increase the number of steps you take by 10% from the first
day of the month to the last day of the month. For example, if on March 1 you walk
2,000 steps, your goal is to walk 2,200 steps on March 31 – an increase of
10%. If you aren't able to increase your steps by 10% in a month, don't worry
– and don't give up! Remember: You don't have to walk fast or for long periods
of time to benefit!
- At the end of the month, add up the steps you recorded on your log sheet throughout
the month, enter the total on the My Steps for Healthy Living Report Card below,
and click Submit.
- Once your submission is processed, you will receive a motivational reward.
It is our way of congratulating you on a job well done.
